Just a few questions:

1) If I go with an internally balanced crank, can I keep my stock diameter damper?

2) If I don't go internally balanced, I assume the larger damper will require a mod to my timing cover (due to the pointer location)?

3) On externally balanced, any problem using a balance plate on my stock flywheel?

4) Angle plug vs straight plug on World Sportsman IIs with Dynomax headers, either one better for spark plug clearance?

Thanks! :chevy

Yes

No modification required, just buy a new pointer for the correct diameter

3) On externally balanced, any problem using a balance plate on my stock flywheel?
not so long as you have the assembly balanced with the flywheel, plate and dampner at a machine shop....

4) Angle plug vs straight plug on World Sportsman IIs with Dynomax headers, either one better for spark plug clearance?
Straight..no reason to go with angle plugs

Thanks! :chevy
Hey...no worries.....

I don't know about clearance issues, but I have heard that angle plug heads give and extra performance boost due to the plug being closer to the exhaust valve. I don't know if the boost comes from the way the flame travels or from the way that the cylinder swirls.
I have seen in magazines that some headers need clearancing whether or not they are straight or angle plugs. All they do is heat up the spot with a torch and indent the pipe slightly, then they use some of those shorty plugs that are on the market nowadays, to get the clearance that's needed.
