i just put in a Camaro type radiator 84-92 in my 79 vette with the help of this forum; I bought a plastic/ aluminum GDI brand radiator from auto zone for $118, lifetime warranty. the local parts store guy gave me a couple of dicontinued rad hoses, to get the angle i needed. I cut the existing hose a few inches up from the downward bend, slipped in an aluminum 1 1/2" tube, and double hose clamped both sides, no problem. I used the existing radiator metal saddles, but riveted a angle bracket thru the existing hole because of the differences in thickness between the rads, and then used a 3/4" x 1/4" mastic type tape as a rubber "saddle" between the rad and the metal saddle.

Hey 70Stringray454 - was the Be Cool a custom make for fit? Did you use the stock fan or go to electric?
