The first and second pics show the factory radio transistors (amplifiers) and convector. The third pic shows the vacuum operated thingy (diaphragm?) that opens the side vent.

The vacuum diaphram opens the door when the A/C is on MAX. It lets the interior air recirulate instead of cooling the outside air. Craig :seeya
