Looking for QUIET mufflers.
Yes, I said quiet. Trying to get interior noise down to almost nil, and my current mufflers have rusted through. I have cutouts when I want to be rumbliscious, but I drive around a lot at night through residential neighborhoods and I don't want to wake everyone up. Plus, it's nicer for tha ladies to have a smooth, quiet-running car. ;)
So, anyways, my question is, who makes a nice, smooth, quiet muffler that will fit our cars and that awful bend they have to go around with the stock pipes for an '81? Performance isn't an issue, as I have the cutout. Cheapness is a plus though.

Enkil, I'm with you on this one. I want it nice and calm on the inside, especially if I'm going on a long trip.
The biggest advance I made to this end, was adding an H-pipe to my dual exhaust. Night and day.
