i just did under dash so that tomorrow i can start reinstalling the ductwork and dash and i wont have to stand on my head to do this after that... :yesnod:
Looking good! You cannot believe the difference this made on mine. Additionally, I put it on the outside of the footwells, and inside the tunnel as well. Now, my only real heat problem is that on long drives (2+ hours) in the NorCal Summer, my shifter gets almost too hot to touch! I have the foam collar above the bell housing, but I often wonder if it would be better to go ahead and remove it to allow some airflow past that shifter!
Is this the same reflectix that Home Depot sells, if so will look fwd to your driving impressions as I plan on putting both this and Dynomat/Brown Bread in my vert. this winter. Looks good!
Re: layed down Reflectex tonight...pix (adamdinat)
Do you glue it down or just form it in place? This sure beats the $100 preformed insulation from the catalog.
i glued it down with spray adhesive and sealed the seams with alum tape...
you cant believe how easy this stuff is to work with!
it cuts beautifully with scissors and forms unbelievably too!
got the dash back in tonight (i posted it) and tommorrow i will finish with the Reflectex....
i will be posting more progress pix tomorrow night!
thanx yall!
