They simply dont hold up. I have now had all 4 replacements leak. Total I have changed all the calipers twice. The folks at Autozone told me not to bother with their rebuilts. The are NOT ss sleeved and they get 1 out ot 2 back. In addition to leaking seals, they also have porely machined threads on the bleeders. I have had to seal them on 2 of the calipers. They are actuall going to refund all my money so I can purchase them some where else. The calipers are made by Fenco and for the vettes they are junk. I am ording a set of NEW replacement calipers from VP today. :mad
My believe is you will continue to have problems if you are using OEM lip seal piston calipers. It just a fact that is repeated over and over again.
Go with the O-ring piston conversion in your SS sleeved calipers that you already own and 99% probability you wont have problems again with leaking or air pumping calipers.
