Default At Ecklers Today

It was the first day and the crowd was modest. There were a number of nice vettes for sale. A 66 Vert White over Black caught my eye. Very beautiful.
Asking price was $38K or best offer. Also, saw a pretty nice 77 for $8100 asking price. Needed work, but a good project.

Ecklers does not allow many vendors, so to eliminate any competetion for their products, I guess. Got a 10 percent discount on everything which was nice.

The big car show is tomorrow, but I cannot make it. Even talked to the owner for a minute.

The "Scratch and Dent Sale" was a disappointment. Anyone going tomorrow?

Mark

I went a few years ago and was disapointed in the whole setup. I will hold out for the Turkey Run in Nov. Now that is worth the trip. :yesnod:

We were going to go, but decided to pass on it this year.

I too wish there were mor vendors and more used stuff for sale there.
I guess I'll hold off till the January NCRS show.

I goy out to the show today, weather was perfect! I took some pics of the lingenfelter c5r vette, also the Blown 69 with the 8 webers, & the C3 convert with the flarred wheel weels and roll bar backed seats. I did notice alot of C5's followed by the C4's less C3's and very few C2-C1 vettes.
I also wish they had more vendors. Next week is Super Chevy up in Gainsville. I want to make it there Fri. I havn't gone to one of these yet.
