Rust Bullet First Impressions
It could definitely use a little bit of thinning to spray nicer... but theysay to not thin the paint, so I did not. Sprayed it with a cheap C-H gun of unknown orgins( borrowed gun) set my pressure at 70 psi to get good coverage.
I tried to use a garden sprayer to get it inside the frame rails... don't waste your time. The paint comes out but does not spray.... just in a stream.
So far I used 1.25 quarts(3/4 quart wasted trying to get it to spray out the garden sprayer. I bought 1 gallon for $87US but they sent me 4 quarts(thank god) Spend the extra money and buy the 4 quart deal.
The frame is now a nice silver color... tomorrow I'll lay down a second coat and finish with a satin black top coat( normal chassis paint)
I'll am also preparing a test. I sprayed a part of the trailing arm I cut out with Rust Bullet. I'll set it out in the weather when I'm done, along with a part painted with what I'm using for a top coat... and do a comparision.
