Default Assembly Manual question.

I ordered a assembly manual from one of the supporting vendors and the manual is from a different vendor and does not even look like the one I ordered but is the right manual.

Question is, does all of the assembly manuals have poor printed pages, I mean so bad that you can't read some of the print, or are do some vendors have better printed manuals?

I guess I will keep it either way.

All of the ones I have seen look like 20th generation photcopies.

I was lucky enough to get the 1976 manuals direct from Chevrolet engineering back in the late 70s. Even some of my pages are a bit hard to read.

They are all photocopies of photocopies.........of photocopies of the original. :(

Would be nice if someone could re-create an original or if GM had an original that could be used.

I got mine from MAD a few years ago. It is a good copy but there are some pages that are not centered. I can't see some part numbers on those. It was on less than 10 pages. I made copies of the wiring diagram and printed them out, then I matched them together and I have a poster size WD to use....it is awesome, I highly recommend doing it if you have an AIM. :yesnod:

Does your AIM have an electrical diagram? I thought that they were only in the Service Manuals.

the one i got from paragon which has MAD's name one the cover is is really bad- the hole aren't even in the right places so it fits very tight in the notebook!!!

And if that's not bad enough iuse a drill to try to widen the holes so it would fit better!!! lol well live and learn.... i didn't ruin it.. but is is slightly worse now.

For a wireing diagram Pacifica Corvette sells a nice poster sized laminated one for a reasonable price.
