I won a pair of aftermarket headlights on ebay for my 81 and was wondering about the headlight bulb size. It came with H4's with a sealed beam headlight housing. Will these fit my year? Here is a link to the ebay auction.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2436841363
I don't see any reason why they won't fit. I bought a similar set from JC Whitney and had to modify the tabs slighty so they would fit in the buckets but otherwise they work great. Soooo much brighter.
Yea, i'm sure he does. It is a company called makauto.com. Go check them out and see what you can find. Email them through the ebay auction that I have linked too. Good Luck!
J.C. Whitney sells several different versions of these Halogen Conversion lights. I have purchased them from them in the past for different vehicles (Jeeps, my Harley) and they work fine - some are less money (especially when it comes to the outrageous "shipping and handling" fee this guy wants.
Ok guys, I emailed Makatoautotrends.com, the H4 bulb is a dual filament bulb. How do you make this work on our vettes where we use 2 seperate lights for high and low???????
I bought two sets of these and only one set will fit the car. The high beams have 2 prong instead of 3 prongs like the other low beams. Anyone interested in these? They are brand spanking new! Let me know if you are interested. Thanks
PS: I wish there was an adapter to go from three from to two prong. Any ideas??
