"Quiet" Sidepipes
I'm thinking about adding sidepipes to my 1974, but don't want to become deaf like my father-in-law. Can anyone rate aftermarket manufacturers and catalog house sidepipes from quietest to loudest?

Re: "Quiet" Sidepipes (nastotarp)
I think quiet sidepipes is a contradiction in terms, like short sleeve dress shirts. Sidepipes are meant to be loud.

Hooker mufflers are very quiet. Slight rumble, but very power robbing too.

Been married to the same woman for 33 years, so I've heard it all about 100 times. Hearing is no longer an issue, she can just write me notes from now on. :lolg: :lolg:
JC Whitney sells some that just look like sidepipes.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!

If you want quiet get the reverse flow mufflers. They were compareble to the stock exhaust. I am selling my old pair in the 'C3 parts for sale/wanted section'.
