Heater problems, what to do?

I have a 74, Use to the heater would come on, but it would blow very hard at all. Now it will not even come on. What all do I need to buy to fix it to where it works well?

Could be a switch, could be the motor, might be a fuse, might be the plug to the motor shook loose. :confused:

Buy a flashlight so you can check the fuse, if that is good, buy a good multimeter (youll need it for other things eventually) and test the voltage at the blower motor (or relay) the blower motor is on the passenger side firewall in the engine compartment. You may have to remove your radiator overflow bottlle to get to it. If you are not getting any voltage at the relay, but the fuse is good, the switch is probably bad. If you are getting voltage to the relay, see if you are getting voltage at the blower motor. If you are not, the relay is probably bad. If there is voltage at the blower motor, and it is not coming on, the motor is probably bad. MOst likely it is the motor IMHO.
