Default SB springs

It's been a while since i pulled out the springs and of course took very little notice and no camera at the time. Am i right to say that the tight coiled end goes in the lower control arm.

I'm not sure but hopefully someone else will jump in. I would install the tight coils down or in the lower A arm. I would also look at the top and bottom and if one is flat look closely at the spring pockets and that would give you a clue.
If not put the tight coils down but be careful where the end of the spring sits. There is an exact spot, even holes drilled in the frame so you can see how the spring is rotated. I believe one hole is to show the spring and the other hole is to be empty so it means the spring end it between the holes.
OK someone else please help. :)

I believe you are correct the closest together coils go down, there should be a picture here that will give you an idea on how they go. www.angelfire.com/al/swhite7/frontend.html
