Default Great Customer Service from Summit!

I bought a Optima battery from Summit about 3-4 weeks ago.
The better red top for $125.95 on sale at Summit.
Saw the same battery was on sale at Jegs for $99.95.
Summit has a policy of matching or beating a competior's price.
I believe that goes for when an item is purchased, not after.
However I took a shot and emailed Summit the Jegs price yesterday and asked if they would credit me the difference even though I purchased awhile ago.
Today I recieved this email:

No problem at all, we have issued a refund to your credit card for $26.00. Your bank may take 7-10 days after we process the refund to post a credit back to your account.

We appreciate your business.
Thank you,
Summit Racing Equipment

Now thats great customer service!

:hurray:

:iagree: They have screwed up a couple things and made them right ASAP. They even sent me a free fuel pressure regulator when I recieved a strip high pressure holley pump in a street pressure box (they are identical except for the size of the outlets) and had already installed the pump.

Definately :yesnod:
They spent a while talking with me about the cam I was ordering a couple of years back & last month the "techy" spent ages going through their stock of Q-jet secondary needles to get the closest to what I was after. The time he spent on the sale must have eaten up well over their profit margin, but at no time was he in a hurry to finish the call. I Like Summit, they want your custom, whereas a lot of suppliers these days are just after your money.

I've had good experience too from both Jegs and Summit. Now do want $5,000 for that SB auto car? :jester
