Re: i need help please!! (Ebbsvette)
The crank pulley should be held by 3 bolts. Loosen those three bolts and take the pulley off of the harmonic balancer. You will then need to loosen the bolt that holds the balancer on the crank. Leave the plugs in the heads, the compression will help keep the motor from turning. Then use a puller to get the balancer off the crank.
welp...problem to both of those...hehe....heads are off the motor.....car is an auto (but its on blocks anyways) what i think im gonna do is get some really strong bolts and put them into the holes on the pulley and using a crow bar between them so they dont move and using a breaker bar to losen the nut....the bolts should keep the motor from turning.....hopefully...

That should work. Make sure you pry the balancer off. Use a puller.
