Could use some frame pics. Not really my style, conv, auto. Personally a coupe/t-top and 4-speed guy. Cant deny thats a NICE vette though! I give it a .
WHETHER IT IS MATCHING NUMBERS OR NOT, IS TO BE DETERMINED BY YOUR SELF DURING THE AUCTION PERIOD BY PERSONAL INSPECTION. WE ARE QUITE SURE THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REPLACED SOMETIME DURING ITS LIFE. SO YOU CAN PRETTY MUCH BE SURE IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL ENGINE
I snoop at ebay and there are a lot of misrepresented cars. The 69 you're talking about was a base 300 HP car converted to a big block. Look at the tach...a 5300 rpm redline. Dead giveaway as the big block is 5600.
A 71 vert is listed on ebay as an LT1 and they insist it is. It also has a 5300 rpm tach and has an AC evaporator casing(NO LT1 AC in 71!).
There is also a 427-400 HP black tripower that also has a 5300 tach and was originally a base motor car.
Thay always get real defensive when I call them on this.
