first make sure there is no bind in the tracking, they may need some grease.

It's likely that your tracks are dry and have too much friction. Before buying new motors, purchase some white lightning grease and grease the tracks. Greasing mine made a tremendous difference and they work great now.

Thanks for the advice. Ill try Lubing them first. I wasent sure what it could be besides the motors getting old?.this has to be a commen problem that most owners face?, wonder why more dont ask?, (could be new motors are still accesable?). Tks Again, :seeya Save the Wave.

I know it's a major job...buy taking the tracks out and degreasing them will make a world of difference. You'll be suprised how much dirt and gunk has collected in them over the years. Check the track rollers too while your in there. They tend to develop flat spots over the years (because of that gunk), and don't "roll" anymore. Grease em up again and install the tracks.

Also check to make sure the springs aren't broken. They help the motor lift the window back up.
