Rear Float Level Adjustment On Holley
Is it possible to adjust the rear float level on a Holley carb with the car idling? I noticed a fuel smell this morning and saw that the fuel had at one point came out around the float level lock screw and adjusting nut. The level is about 3/4 way up the sight glass right now. Thanks for any help.

Eddie, Yes it is, we just did it on my carb while it was running, watch out for some gas spraying out though. When you loosten the screw is when the gas spits out, but it stops when you tighten it. Does not take much to change the float level, about a 1\4 to 1\2 turn.....

Floats are to be adjusted with the car running. The fronts are adjusted with the float level plug out and adjust just so the fuel is seeping out, not running, not lower then the sight plug but just of the lowest edge, just starting to seep. For the back adjust the same but have the fuel just starting to flow, not alot but more then a seep.
This can only be done with the motor running.
