A CCC Tuning, Driving, Drinking Weekend...
Do note the order and sequence of events..
I've had a few comments regarding the "disappearance" of the CCC (The Colorado Corvette Crazies - the Ultimate Corvette Tuning and Beer Drinking Fraternity) from the Forum. Well, we're still here and wrenching on Vettes as always. "Blkblt" just posted up some pics and a writeup from this last weekend over on the C1/2 Forum, so go check it out: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=688274

I enjoyed those pics very much. You fellows certainly do enjoy your Corvettes! I have one question - just to show my ignorance of performance matters - What is a 409? I know its not the Beach Boys version....

A 409 is our own creation. It's a .040" over 400 SB with a 400 crank, 350 rods, and special-height pistons. With Dart heads, 10.2:1 comp, a big cam and a set of headers it's a screamin' combo. It works out to 409 cubic inches, so we even installed 409 emblems on the fenders.
