My vacuum is drawn from under the carbs on top of the blower. The vacuum can be as high as 20 inches. I have about 10 in the intake under normal light cruising. Under the carbs is about double the intake. When the intake goes into boost you still have good vacuum under the carbs.

Hey Norval -- any tranny upgrades needed for a blower addition??? Spent alot of time on blower/supercharger pages (bell,whipple,vortec) and they all seem to say the stock components are fine/safe with their recommended kits. I'm sort of suspicious that the addition of 100 ft/lbs TQ, 70+ HP can be handled by most AT's. Specifically I'm wondering about my TCI 700R4. I know it's rated to 450hp but what about TQ??
