If they are magneseum they can be polished as well yet the seem to oxidize rather easily. I polished a set from an 84 and they look very nice, but don't seem to last.
If anyone has a trick to keep them from doing this I would be greatly indebted. I put a clearcoat on them. That slowed it but they still lose the luster. Should I give up and slap a coat of paint on it like from the factory and move on?
