I'm installing hooker side exhaust this weekend. I did not receive any cut-out patern for the rocker panel or rocker panel molding. Are there any or do I use the test fit/cut/test fit/cut..... method. BTW, I have a '70 BB with ps and a/c.
Yup,thats the way to go..Also check that you`ll have enough clearence to the frame ..I had to go "Medival" on some tubes to gain some space....
Another question for you guys.
How close does the inner header tube right before the collector sit to your guys lower front fender?
Just curious about the heat and the painted fiberglass right in that area.
Mine seem that they sit pretty close to the lower front fender and I'm wondering about the heat and my paint.
On my car ,one of the Tubes went fairly close to the fenderon the drivers side.I just fitted the header on the engine and marked up where the "troublezone" were.I then removed it and wrapped a cloth around the header and worked the tube with a small hammer.Beware that i dont know the quality of Hookers Crome or Coating and it could start to crack.I bought mine black and had it chromed locally here in Sweden.. :smash:
