Time to change gears
Ok I could use some help? I'm Driving a 74 with a 350 and 400 turbo that has had some work done to it and is creating some very nice horsepower. The problem is the gears in the rear are 3.08.
I'm set up to have the gears changed but unsure on choosing 3.73 3.90 or 4.10s. I don't do allot of long distance cruising mostly around town Mustang hunting and the occasional ricer fry. Could I get some input
on what others out there are set up with? And what type of RPM's your turning at around 55 to 60 mph?
How fast can you get to 60 mph? :flag :chevy

I changed to the 3.55 a couple of years before the OD trans went in. I would hit 3200rpm's @ 70mph(thats with a 26" tall tire). It did wakeup my take-offs but if I was going to start over I would have gone to the 3.73's.
