So, I can buy the R&P set and installation kit from Summit to my door for around $400. Then I would have to pay some speciality shop rather big bucks to install it.
Since I cannot do the work myself doesn't it make better sense to just buy a complete rebuilt rear end for about $800 plus shipping?

Re: Rear Gears (OHSIXX)
 Go local. Specialty driveline shops are all set up to do this work and will normally get it done in one day, maybe two. Usually installation and parts are backed by shop warranty. This way you can get the whole unit inspected and rebuilt including clutch packs and bearings. You may want new solid U-joints and drive shaft/half shaft balancing too. Some driveline shops can do this balancing, but not all (mine did). It’s just that if problems occur there is no one else to point the finger at (but you know who to give it to). And it’s usually not much more money if any. Just demand your old parts and keep that old gear set for resale unless you barter a deal for it. :yesnod:
Hey card0: You said what should have been obvious to me. I am lending in that direction now. Going to check out a place called, "American Power Train & Gears." Thanks, Mark :)
If your car was aligned before doing any work then all you have to do is mark the position of the strut rod camber. The toe will not change unless you remove the shims-which ou shouldn't have to. If you already removed the strut rods then yes you should re-align.
