Probably something wrong with the vacuum hoses! Check and see if everything is connected properly.

Mine does this also. I just recently ran new hoses too. I don't know what causes one to raise faster than the other. Maybe someone can chime in with some hints.

I think it is pretty normal. I just rebuilt my vacuum system - new hoses, actuators and relays and one headlight still activates before the other one. However I have a strong cam with very little vacuum at idle. . .

I would say that your not in part of the abnormal area for headlight operation. Most people dont have them at 100%. That could be anything from a minor vacuum leak in either hoses, actuators, or relays to improperly mounted and lubed headlight housings. If your really interested in finding out you'll have to do alot of work for what I think is not alot of reward. I need to do this work myself but have deemed it to be lower on the list than many other things right now. Although I have a pretty good link to a headlight document that may help you if you so decide. http://www.spectracreations.com/corvette-101/

Good luck

I met a guy in Jersey a few summers back and he had a fix that made sense. According to him he said the legth of hose that went to the passenger side was longer and that it took a little longer for the vacuum to build up to open it. Fix, make hoses equal lenght and should fix the problem. I can't confirm but it makes sense.
