Default Boog at take off

Lars if you are not here I hope you are working in the garage. I removed the vacum line from the choke pull off, pushed the front lever assy. in by hand. placed my finger tightly over the vacum tube (steel outlet or inlet) and the front assy. pushed itself outward. I think this means the diaphram has a hole in it. any ideas. re: this is about a post last week. q-jet - possible choke pull off problem.

It leaks. Do you have a vacuum pump to double check it?

No just my finger. The local napa store beleives that the unit leaks if it is sealed at one end and it draws out after you have pushed the front end in.

Then you confirmed it as bad. Take it to NAPA with the carb number that is on the casting and get one. If they can not help you go to carbs unliminted at
http://www.carbs.net

and they have all the Q-Jet parts.
