Couple questions on HEI
Will any HEI parts fit a OEM dual points tach distributor body?
SUMMIT

I'M ORDERING THE PERTRONIX II IGNITION SYSTEM.
Now will this kit fir the stock points body so I can eliminate the external coil? HEI base looks twice as wide as the points distributor base.

Designed for carbureted systems, our filters flow 390 gph and have a reusable 60 micron element. Each 3.38 in. long filter is machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and rated to 100 psi. They're available in red or blue with -6 or -8 AN fittings.

No parts from an HEI distibutor will fit in the non-HEI housing.
The fuel filter is designed to be used with braided steel hoses. You can use them with steel lines but it gets a little tricky getting the double flare right when you use a nut/ferrel set-up.

To be able to hook up that filter you need the special fuel pump adapter, summit carries those and you'll be able to hook up a -6 line to it, you can also cut your hard line and either flare it and use tube nuts and sleeves or use the hard line crimping AN hose ends from russell
