High idle
We have a 750 speed demon wit performer rpm intake and it idles really high, at around 1200, the idle is also inconstent, evry time we start its a little bit diffrent, someone a while ago told us to set the idle mixture for maximum rpms and then set the idle speed screw, is this right? :rolleyes:

Also check to see that the linkage does not bind anywhere and that the secondaries are the completely closing each time you let off the throttle. If they hang even a little, idle is affected.
