Won't idle??
After driving fine, she began to stall everytime I came to a stop. Got her home. She will not even idle. Pulled carb and complete rebuild. No change. Puking unburnt fuel out both tail pipes about two feet long on the ground. Pulled all spark plugs, carbon deposits but generally ok. Vacuume is low 5-10 at 1500rpm. Have to keep my foot on it to keep her running. Found EGR valve bad, capped vacuum line to it for now. Could a bad EGR valve be causing all this trouble? Advise? :smash:

sounds like your running WAY to rich, i have the same thing right now with unburnt fuel, but our idle is to high, anyways sounds like your running rich. Check your choke, that could cause the stalling. :chevy

It's an electric choke. Closes when starting, opens slightly, then continues to open until straight up when warmed up. This part seems to be working ok.
