I need to replace all the U joints on my 76 c-3 and i called my local Autozone and can buy them for $13.00 each. I seem to remeber reading on the forum that there is a better one.
I want to do this job once, What brand should i use and where can i get them? Should i use the type with grease fittings or not?
what kind of trouble can i run into do this job
Tahnks
I used the non zerk Spicer u-joints. I believe Spicer was the original vendor for these parts. Do a search under C3 for the Spicer Part Numbers and U-joint removal techniques.
A local truck supply house was the source for Spicer. I think Van Steel (Corvette Forum Sponsor) also carries them.
