They look like original Torq Thrust D's to me.
I like them myself.

:iagree: Very popular in the '60s-'70's. Add the racing stripe & 427 too Paul.
Looks like the center cap is American Racing script. Probably using spacers.

Re: What are the Wheels... (1970 Stingray)
I wouldn't go as far as the stripe. Or three tail lights. Or the side exhaust. Or the 427. But that sure is a pretty car! Damn, I should stay away from the Forum. Now I am thinking. I just cleared away most of my C3 parts from the basement....good according to the Wife. On the other hand there is room to experiment during the winter. Will not tell Wife. (BTW my 1967 came North from PA in June.}

I'm thinking. Will they fit on a 1967?
*Edit*-The link did not work.

Re: What are the Wheels... (paul67)
I have TTD's on mine. I had to have adapters made for it. The true TTD's in 15" will not clear the calipers. It was worth the effort and the expense to get the wheels I'd always loved.

Re: What are the Wheels... (Rolling Thunder)
If you either buy or grind the TTD's with a bevel they will fit.
I used an older A/P wheel that already had the bevel.

Just to add fuel to the fire Paul, check out Zwede's '71 with 17" wheels. They would look incredible on your '67.

Those wheels are American Racing Torque D's, they would be perfect on your car Paul!

That sure is a pretty car! But I wish to stay with 15" if I go for a change.

Dave,
What is the width of that wheel? I was thinking of staying with 6".

Re: What are the Wheels... (groovyjay)
How the 1979 Registry coming along? I haven't peeked for several months.
My thought is to preserve the original ralleys: have them stripped and painted. Then stored. They are unique to 1967 being only 6" wide. And originals are getting rare. I worry about caliper/fender clearance problems but I am sure the manufacturer can advise. This means new tires as well.....

The one's in the picture are the back ones. They are 10"x15". I have 8 1/2"x15" up front. You can also see one of the adapters laying on the floor that I had made.

Re: What are the Wheels... (paul67)
Well I am betwixt and between. One vendor says there is no clearance problem and the other says yes and recommends the much more expensive CL205 model, a two-piece unit. If I could find the truth I would buy. Anyone know an authority on these wheels?
*Edit*-I am looking at American Racing product #105-5661 (15 x 6").

Re: What are the Wheels... (paul67)
I have shifted this over to the C1/C2 area to see if they have had experience with those wheels.
