Next Saturday I plan on installing the motor with a few friends and forum members. The motor is ready to go in and I thought it would be a good time to kill some beers and eat some brats. It also is a good time to meet some of the North Dallas C-3er's. So, Adam, Marchus, Doug, and all the other lunch bunch, I expect you guys to come.

See if Wes (WA 2 FST) is available. He's not far from that area and if you're doing a "vehicle upgrade" he's got my vote as someone for that kind of job.
Re: DFW C-3er's: LS 1 install party. (patsnitrovette)
Well, I'm closer but still not close enough. I thought you already had that thing in, Buddy? Well, good luck, hope it all goes smooth. I seem to have finally got the major bugs worked out of mine. Went for a nice cruise this Saturday night and it took a while to wipe off the grins on my dad's and my face.
Come on Pat and Travis, Dallas has got to be better than Jersey and Houston. We test fitted the motor a week ago to make sure the mounts worked. I ended up ordering the poly mounts from Jegs and my clutch finally showed up.
Wes is right down the road in Allen. I'll see if Adam can run over and tell him about it.
Budman, tell me how all of this goes with the LS1 install. I'm looking at doing this sort of thing in the future. Oh and one more thing, make a documentary and take pictures  Good luck with the installation.
Don't know how much help I would be but I can drink beer and take pictures. Where in metroplex are you located? Supposed to pull a motor on Sat but watching you install one sounds like more fun.
