looking for convert tops
Can anyone tell me who has the best vert tops... hard top as well.... part of my winter project is going to be re-doing my convert....looking for best quality.... thank you Chris :auto:

I think the original type vinyl material isn't the best looking stuff in the world, I much prefer the Stayfast cloth look of the modern Corvette 'vert tops. It is less shiny and smoother looking to me. There are a several places that sell C-3 tops made of Stayfast, RollingThunder gave me a link a couple of months ago, (which I have since misplaced) with some good prices for Stayfast tops, but I was able to find this place by doing a Google Search on the web. http://www.ecparts.net/corvetteconvertibletops.htm

I bought the top for my 95 Corvette from AA Best Co. Good quality products. Like Steve said, the stafast material is superior to the vinyl if you are not concerned with originality.

Did my '69 myself with an Al Knoch. Top notch quality. Don't forget to check your front bow for rust (very common) and get all the weatherstrips and tack strips at the same time.

i had a custom made canvas on my 74. same material used on the C5 black tops. i don't think any thing looks classier than canvas
