Default down under registration

any one in australia had to go thru the hassles of getting imports registered?what did you do with the rear indicators in your vette (as the originals are red and we gotta have yellow), i had to replace them and the closest thing ive found are a truck type light , im not real happy with how they look so does any one have any ideas. any help please :cheers:

On my 81 they must have got a big orange lense and cut it in a circle and stuck it on. I will have a look tomorrow and send you a few pics.

You need to convert your reverse lights into directional indicators,means a slight wiring change,you can either fit orange coloured globes or fit an orange lense over the white reverse light lense,remember these will also be your hazard lights as well as still retaining the reverse light function.The front park lights need to be modified as well,with a partition in the middle,& another globe & housing fitted to convert the fitting into an indicater & park light,again using an orange coloured globe for the indicator.This is what is done in WA not sure about your state.Keeps the car looking original.

I never took much notice of the tail lights until now. looks like i'll have to do a bit work to get them back to original looking.
