Default Do I really need?
I have finally found an origninal plastic fan shroud for my 1970 SB. I have the fan, clutch and all of the brackets to install the shroud. In all of the Corvette catalogs, Zip, Ecklers, they list an extention. Do I really need the extention, or can I get by with just the shroud? Just trying to stay out of the poor house!

Yes you need it or the fan will not be covered and will suck air from around the main shroud. :(

And don't forget the seals. Without them you might as well not have the shroud
