Default Lights

Are there any lights in the center consel for heater control area so one can see things at night. Are they bulbs if so or built into heater control.

There is one small light that plugs into the top right (I think) of the control cluster, it is the same size as all the other dash and instrument lights. Not hard to change.

Are you referring to the heater control unit with the thumb wheels on the floor/centre console????

If so, the bulb (Ecklers part # 25448) is located underneath the heater control unit......and you remove the bulb housing with a twist and pull action....

I removed and replaced my floor/centre console.....and rebuilt the heater control unit, so bulb replacement was easy.......but putting it all back together again was a real PITA........

I have to disagree with Smokehouse on the ease of replacing this bulb......quite frankly I'd rather drop the soap in a prison shower than have to deal with the console again (trust me, that's saying ALOT!!!!)........

However, you might be able to attack it from the top by removing the trim plate and heater control unit......there might be enough room to replace the bulb......

BTW, Nice Vert, John......
