I think i came up with a solution to emmisions, or maybe im just a lunatic  , Well anyways, since were getting sidepipes I got to thinking what if we cut out a part of the sidepipe, or exhaust where the header collecter ends and the sidepipes or exhaust system begins and replace it with a piece of tubing that you can remove. Then when emmisons time comes you can take out the piece of tubing and replace it with a cat, then once your done you can take out the cat and put back in the removable section :D
Also do two cats provide better emmisons results then one cat?

Well, even if you could get enough heat into the cats to make them work (and that's a big if), it is illegal to change the location of the cat so you'd fail the visual.
How do you get heat into the cats then? bring them closer to the heads? how was the stock cat system setup, were they right under the exhaust manifolds? Also how will they know the stock location, do they have a book or something?

Yes, cats need to be close to the heads. With headers you need them right after the collectors. Many new cars have them mounted directly to the exhaust manifold(s).
Zwede, that totally depends on where you live. In Colorado, it wouldn't fail the visual. All they would care about is if it burns clean enough.
Yes, you could easily do that though. The cats would still fire at that distance away from the heads. I've got a custom dual exhaust on an IROC Camaro I daily drive, and it was 4 times cleaner than the maximum allowable emissions, and that had the cats kind of far away, by necessity. There's not enough room for a dual exhaust on a car like that and you have to make do.
In fact, modern cats flow so well, I don't think you'll experience a significant drop in power. I'd just leave them in there permanently.
