Well, I dropped the car off this morning at the alignment shop. The mechanic wasn't real happy to see me, because he remembered the chore of aligning the car in March, when I finished the VBP suspension install.
I told him not to worry, because I only disturbed the tie rods. All the shim work should not have to be repeated.
When I returned a few hours later, he was smiling and telling me what a great set up the car had with the Steeroids, the VBP Performance Plus and the 17 inch TTIIs.
I think he was still smiling from the test drive. :yesnod: The car was backed-in to its spot. :D
Eddie--Only had it to and from the shop on residential streets with no opportunity to carve turns at WOT, but it is clearly a homerun. I went from sloppy manual steering to tight power steering, and the difference is dramatic. It drives like a car versus a relic.
Also, with manual steering the tie rod end goes in the back hole of the spindle. With the Steeriods, it's in the front hole, so I have a tighter turning circle.
It's probably the best single improvement I've made or could have made.
I also enjoyed the installation very much. :smash: :smash: The directions are on the thin side, but not too bad.
