Not sure which circuit you're working on, but these things are all over the vehicle. You'd be surprised where I found them.

I have 2 down by the starter (easy to get at) and 2 near the back of the fuse block (a real PITA to get at).

You can get fusible links from parts stores. Look in the "HELP" section. There will be fusible links for GM, Chrysler, and Ford. I got the GM 14 gauge fusible links for my starter harness. It is a part number 85620 from a company called 'Conduct-Tite"(Motormite). The UPC code on the back is 3749585620. I hope this helps and is the correct info. By the way, I don't think you are going to be able to locally find the fats ones originally used in our cars. I could be wrong, so good luck.

:iagree:
Plus there are a bunch of them near the horn relay and a few behind the wiper motor. Not to mention all the factory "splice" connections at various locations in the wiring harness. They're the ones that really crack me up! Only the General could come up with that! Why they wouldn't just run an entire wire instead of crimp-splicing is beyond me! :smash:

Thanks VetteMike  I need two of them. One for the starter and one for the rear defroster circuit. Bubba decided that only one half of the link was necessary. Geee..no wonder they didn't work. :conehead
