I had custom leather installed in the 8T1 Bionic Vette.........The guy used leather from Europe.....He claims European leather does not have barb wire dings like American leather.....They don't have barb wire in Europe?.....I'm no expert on this however that was the claim.
Sure, any GOOD interior shop should be able to do it. That is EXACTLY what I am going to do. Probably even cheaper than to have new ones bought and will match the custom interior I plan on doing.

yes any good interior shop should be able to do it. I took mine to a local place here a couple of years ago to have them recovered and get rid of that carpet on the bottom. I have just changed the color on mine from cinnabar to black....there should be some pictures here at the bottom of the page. Hope this helps. www.angelfire.com/al/swhite7/interior.html
You will have to go to an apolstery shop and have the door panels custom made, or covered in leather....as for seats, I bought 68-69 leather covers and new foam from Al Knock and had Knock do the job.
What is the material that is used to cover interior pieces like the console and dash instrument panel? It looks like thick vinyl that is stretched over the pieces and glued on the edge. I would like to re-cover some of my parts and I also would like to cover the handbrake console so that the texture matches the forward console.
