Need help with lights...
Our '79 is having some lighting issues...
Our left brake light fails to come on while depressing the brakes when the lights are on, when the parking or headlights are on, it lights up when depressing the brakes... I replaced the bulb, replaced the parking light bulb, still do not come on.
Then I found that the headlight switch was broke, so we ordered a new one and I replaced it. But now NONE of the lights come on, parking lights, or taillights, the headlights DO come on though. The interior lights also do not come on, but if you turn the headlight switch to the far left, the interior lights do come on… Could this be a ground problem?? Relay problem? I’m stumped…

Sounds like you had one problem initally and then added another.
The first problem sounds like a socket ground problem. The second sounds like you either have a bad switch or didnt get it hooked up correctly. You should look at the fuses also. You could have popped one when installing the switch.

Nope, not a fuse...
It can't be a socket probel also, because the left brake light comes on when pressing the brake, it doesnt come on when the lights are on and then you press the brakes...
Any ideas?
