Hurst shifter kit.
Hello
My 68 manual transmission has a Hurst shifter kit installed.
I like to install one of this stock style Hurts shifter handles, like ECKLERS offers.
Now, Ecklers offers them from 64-67 with chrome **** and 68-76 with black ****.
The 68 originally had a chrome ****. I asked ECKLERS and they replied non available for my 68 ?
Is there a difference between the 64-67 and 68-76 shifter handles ?
Could I install a 64-67 handle ?
Are this stock style shifter handle ***** removable like the originals where ?
Could I use a 68-76 shifter with a 64-67 chrome **** ?
I know, many questions. I just try to find a solution.
ECKLERS P/N is 26837 & 26836 , Catalogue page 178.

I'm going to take a guess and say the 69 up handles are offset to fit the counsols,where the C2 were probably straight. You might be able to swap out the *****?
