Default More Header Questions

This will be my 1st purchase of a set of headers. I think I will be buying Headman ceramic coated. I have a 350 engine in a 79 vett. My question is this. Headmans Elite coated headers are priced cheaper than their bottom of the line ceramic coated headers? Is there a differans in the coating or trouble with the fit of the thicker headers? Am I wrong in thinking the elite Headman's are better than the other set? Also what type of header bolts are best Stainless, chromolly? Are regular bolts better or the hex head bolts? Sorry about all the questons. Thanks in advance for any advise. :conehead

I don't think the coating has any effect on fitting...

And get a good set of Locking header bolts.

Get a price quote from Jet-Hot direct, and ask for the corvetteforum discount. Their ceramic coating is probably better than the coating provided by the header manufacturer. MJ
