82 headlight timing

82 headlight timing
is there any way to adjust the opening and closing of my headlights on my 82? whenever i turn on my headlights, the left one opens up first. then after about 3-5 seconds, the right one pops up. is there any way to have them operate at the same time?

my 1980 is the same way. It's a sign of leaking headlight acctuators or relays.

there is a small seal on the shaft of the actuator that will cause that problem. it will soon get to the point that u will have to "help" the light up. the seals (w/boots) are cheap to buy, and easy to install. 601-495 1968-82 Seal Kit, 2 seals & 2 boots, car set $39.99 http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=4.249.1273 good luck :thumbs: :cheers:
