But my take?
it's their first attempt at a brake, I don't see any reference to any solid modeling, winston cup car experience or anything except weight.
While on one hand brakes are nothing more than a big clamp, on the other hand there is a lot of forces and thermodynamics involved.
Also what pads do they take? when they stop making them can you get pads / parts?
The Force 10's are all aluminum and use a dual pin pad and SS braided hoses. They are supposed to make the car stop 40% better and the are lighter than stock calipers. I don't think wilwood make a direct bolt on like the force 10's. Not sure, I think Twin Turbo has them. I have the force 10's and they work pretty good. Not sure what kind of experience SSBC has w/putting brakes on race cars or what not but there is a science to making calipers. You have to make sure that when they do clamp they won't brake under any circumstances. Calipers have some flex to them when you hit the brakes. You'll notice on a lot of aftermarket brakes they have what looks like towers on top of them. There may be 2 or 3 all together. They are designed to reinforce the caliper so that when it flexes it won't collapse.(spelling)
I make a bracket that allows any 3.5" mount caliper to be used with the Vette.
Wilwood sells a couple of styles the 4 piston superlight and the 6 piston superlight ( maybe a couple of other choices too.
You can also use calipers from Outlaw, Aerospace, Alcola(?) and others.
BTW the wilwood 4 piston superlites are like $170 each.
I have wilwoods and they are far from bolt in. I have Integra 6 for the fronts and integra 4 for the rear and also have a set of IRGTs that I may use on the back instead
I sell the brackets for $100 a pair....
For the rear Heidts Hot rod sells a bracket for the Wilwood Dynalite that is a perfect match for the superlite fronts...
I think they get $110 - $120...
The 5,25 hole spacing on the dynalite caliper is the same as stock, the stock rear caliper has 5,25 also. Only the mounting ears on the DLIII are too short. The Integra has 5,25 spacing too, so a rear bracket for them is very easy, just a square plate like the heidts thing.

Thats the setup i have on right now. So far only the fronts, i put in the superlyte 4 piston calipers with hawk fero carbon pads. Installed them and never looked back, SUPER light, and a really nice firm pedal. and came out to like $600 in the end, youre gona have to get custom made brake lines though, to fit the the calipers. :D
