Just about all the Corvette vendors have them. Around $ 200. I bought mine from my local Chevy dealers parts house. Little over 200 which included shipping.
20 gallons!
aww, the best part is pulling into the gas station so everyone can ask you if thats a HEMI or if the bodies were metal back then. The really funny one is when they ask if my Busa is fast....
Believe the difference in the 18 and 20 gal tanks is the filler neck. My filler neck has an extension that goes into the tank about two inches. So that is as far as you can fill the tank. Believe that makes it 18 gal. Without the extension you would have 20 gal. You can just cut a couple of slots in the extension and then be able to fill it all the way up.

Re: '72 gas tank (Tom73)
I doknow Tom. I plan to use the carbon filter vapor canister for my vent path. With the stock non-vented cap this will allow filling up to the vent tube. This has some kind of float/check valve - that I managed to break. No replacement available for this vapor separator and I have to repair. I could just block this off and use a non-vented cap. But here in California I never know what to expect for emissions testing.
I guess the real test will be once I measure the fuel to fill-up.
If you don't care about NCRS, there is a company that sells exact duplicate repro tanks on Ebay. Bought mine for $150. +shipping. When I removed the original and compared, they were identical. Sorry..can't find their name right now for you.
