won't start ?

Has any one out there ever reset the fuel cut off inertia switch on a 82? :banghead:

Arnt cars equipped with them usually just a push and hold button to reset the switch?

They are used to cut power to the electric fuel pump if you have an accident. but where is it located on the car? :confused:

I've honestly got no clue for your car but all the ones I have ever seen are usually underneath the glove box side/ passenger side of dash. I guess'n the firewall is the next place I would look. Like I said I really have no clue.

Hopefully someone will jump in and educate us... TTT

Thanks for your reply SPOOK: I'am supprised that no one here has been able to figure this out. It is possible that the car does not even have this saftey switch. 82 was the first year to have the electric fuel pump inside of the gas tank, you would think GM would use the inertia fuel cut off switch :cheers:
