Because of the recent shortage of new posts (it seems like there are very little posts these days) I'm starting this general topic. Lemme go first.
First of all, replace heater core in truck because it's leaking and I don't want to ruin my new carpet. Then hopefully summit will have my new bullet mufflers here so I can start on the exhaust, it really sounds ugly with both mufflers cracked and the gaskets blown out.
I am also working on my dry sump system (still), got the filters today (1 system1 -16 sized oil tabk to to pressure section screen filter) and 4 -12 sized screen filters for the scavenge sections)
Next week I'll go and finish up the mockup on my spare block.
I will also finish some body work on my vette, if it's not too cold outside, will do some more glassing and modding. Maybe finish seam welding the frame and I may start chopping for coil overs.
If my polymatrix pads arrive I'll also give the caliper brackets another shot.
Also have to replace the bellhousing studs, the ARP studs are too short for the magnesium bellhousing, the bosses on it are really large :(
Also have to finish the plumbing on my engine, I keep putting it off. Have the exhaust side finished but the intake still needs to be done :(
Will also finish plumbing the fuel system, I need to order metric to JIC (AN) fittings for the fuel log to connect it to the aueromotive fuel pressure regulators and the SX pump/filter unit. May hack up the stock tank for a sump and will see if it can be mounted lower into the frame for any significant amount.
May finish up the cooling system too, have a -20 hose (my rad has -20 connections), a -20 inline thermostat aseembly, only need a -20 manifold adapter/thermostat housing thingie (dang, I have a -16 one :( )
Dropping rear end, replacing fuel lines, A-arm bushings replacement, dropped fuel tank, replacing core support, exchanging engines and "deleting" a few other things on my '75. :D

Re: what's your current project (Paul Borowski)
I have been gathering interior parts for my refurbish. During all of this, I pulled the drivers side dash down and found some real wiring nicities. So, yesterday I ordered a dash harness and a rear light harness to correct those problems. I went last week and got an estimate to get the HOOD and the rest of my car painted. Just getting ready for next spring is gonna be a lot of work.
Took out rear crossmember to replace broken spring bolt. Since differential was out, decided to put 3.73's in.
Seen that bushings and shocks and spring is bad, so I pulled those out. Ordered the bushings, smart struts, and edelbrock shocks. Still undecided on the spring.
WAY too much slop in trailing arms. So I spent the weekend removing / cutting those out. Will deliver Friday to local Vette shop to have rebuilt. (Too much grinding noise when I spun the rotor. Plus .020" rock when I pushed on the rotor. )
Mama's telling me to slow down, there's plenty of winter left, and even less money left!
I'm currently finishing my basement. I just hung the last sheet of sheetrock a few minutes ago. I plan to have it painted by New Year's and then I can get back to the Vette, which I have been neglecting since I ripped her heart out in October. My plans for her are somewhat secretive until I get further along (and actually get some parts purchased. She will have a new powertrain and be running by my birthday in April. (more details to come as the parts purchasing commences. :D
I just recently began to devote some serious time to the 73 again. Last weekend I installed the windshield. Also installed a new rag joint.
Master cylinder and brake bleeding is next.
Then hang the doors and install all the window and latch stuff. Right now the doors are bare shells. I'm putting in power locks right away.
The seats are recovered but need to be bolted back together and put back in the car
That will keep me busy for a few weeks or so. I still have so many parts on the shelves that need to go in this car somewhere. Craig :yesnod:
Replaced radiator support. Front cross member. Replace reverse switch and harness to get reverse lights working and now going to replace rear trans seal. After that to paint shop for new look. :seeya :chevy :flag
Current stuff.........
Granetelli Billet Power steering pump...hedman sidepipe headers and custom 2-1/2" sidepipes (under factory covers)...monza gas cap....and finding a 67, 68or 69 camaro/firebird to go vintage racing.

Re: what's your current project (stpman)
Was going to build a 427ci small block but now just a lowly 406ci
Want to build it myself and don't trust my skills with a $1000 stroker crank, so I am going with stock stroke Scat 9000. Other go fast goodies are Eagle rods SpeedPro 11:1 pistons Victor Jr. heads, Vic Jr. intake, Holley 750 DP and Comp Cams Extreme Street Roller cam solid XR280R. yee haa :D
