Good morning to everyone! By the way tshort.... I have a New Years resolution to be even MORE rotten. The days are ticking, so don't get used to this.

I've got three more items that will go up at various times today and one of them is really cool for the engine builders. I'll hold that one over until tonight. (Hint: around 8PM CDT) :D
----------------------------------------

This next item(actually 3) is for someone who might want to dress up the looks of their engine a bit. They go as a package, so if you don't need them all that's okay. All of these parts can be found at summitracing.com. In fact, I think that's where I got them.

Item #6:
1)Die cast polished aluminum push-in style breather w/ PCV- 1-1/4" hole -(SUM-G3408) (Claimed by gdh) No longer available
2)Mr. Gasket T-bar valve cover wingnuts (1 set) - You will need to buy the other set - (MRG-9818) (Claimed by Shriker) No longer available
3)Mr. Gasket early chevy chrome themostat housing w/o-ring(not vette) - (MRG-2660) (Claimed by Shriker) No longer available

I could use the new breather as well, just bought the other 2 parts. I kind of feel a little guilty asking for a second part, if someone else requests it pls. give it to them. I will have a list of parts to donate next week, once I have af few days off and can sift through the parts bin.

One more item this afternoon. I don't know if anyone can use this or not.

Item #7: 1960-1968 Chilton's Auto Repair Manual(hardcover) - American Cars. It's in great shape and was published in 1967 at a cost of $9.95. Jesh! Things were cheap then. (Claimed by 90z) No longer available.

I hate my first post in this section to be taking something for free, but I just got a '68 427 convert and I could use a service book, at least for some common things. Please let me know.

Thanks!

Here's the last thing I have to offer in this thread. I bought this tool back in the mid 80's and actually forgot I even had it until I started digging through my tool chest. It's never been used(some rust on one the short driver which makes no difference) and pretty idiot proof from what I can see.

Item #8: Bill Mitchell Cam Bearing removal/installation tool. (Claimed by stpman) No longer available

Unforetunately I can't foot the bill to ship this to Canada like I said in the opening of this thread. Although I am shipping a couple of items to gdh I talked to UPS and they said their *slow boat to China ground shipping* will not clock me for a 2lb package. This is an odd shaped package and has some weight to it due to the steel rods, so it only goes in the US. It goes for $106 these days at the Speed Shops. The item is still up for grabs.

JRD77VET,

I sent you an IM. Steve(stpman) gave me all of his information in Canada and shipping is not that bad afterall. It might get there in 2005, but it will eventually get there.

That's all I have to offer in this thread. Everything is boxed and will go out UPS in the morning. Happy holidays to everyone and hopefully you all can use some stuff that would have just sat around my garage for years to come.

And in early January if any of you see a '71 LS-5 on E-bay there's a very good possibility it will be mine. I'm spending the four days off during the New Years finishing up things and then she goes on the market. I've seen some '70 LS-5's and early '70's verts drawing some decent bids, so I'm going to test the waters and ultimately end up with a low milage '00 or '01 C-5 for my daily driver.

I can add one thing to the freebie list for people in SE Michigan. I WILL NOT ship these, they're too big and I don't want to cut them up. I have a pair of almost new glasspacks with '68 style tips welded on. They're attached to original '68 intermediate pipes (mild steel, so they're rusty but usable). They're just taking up space in my garage, might be useful to someone.

Again, pick-up only.

First I would like to say that Barry is the real deal. I met him today and he is a really nice guy. Nice big block too!

Now, I have a center bezel that is cut for a modern radio. Will that do?
