Default Paging LARS


Hey got that MG-928 spring kit yesterday and installed the silver/ black spring mix. No timing light yet but expect 12 degrees initial with 36 at 2300 RPM. Seems to pull great all the way to red-line with no pinging. I think I'm in there (total timing). Thanks again for all the help.

Congrats Cali, I haven't kept up on your issues with getting that thing fired up, but you obviously have it going strong now. These cars are so much fun when running right!!!!

BTW, did you send the Pertronix II back, or did you end up putting it in? Just curious?

Either way, hope it's all working out well for you.

Glad to hear the parts combo worked well for you. I've had great luck with that setup in all the points-style distributors with only a couple of exceptions where the curve came in a tad too quick. Sounds like you're in good shape - good job!
